Fallout 3 prepped to hit the big screen!

Granted when I first played the  game Fallout 3, I was not at all very keen with the over all game-play and structure, but in the back of my mind I kept thinking how much potential the game had to be transferred to the big screen.  Now comes word via video game website, and magazine Joystiq, that the video game which has won numerous Game of the Year awards, has been submitted to the patent and trademark office for a feature film release or television production.  A feature film seems more likely as the game is astonishingly long and detailed.

According to Joystiq : a trademark staking claim on the Fallout name for “entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program,” hinting pretty heavily at the possibility of a Fallout-themed … television program. Another filing secures the trademark for “motion picture films about a post-nuclear apocalyptic world.”
