Extra severely injured during Transformers 3 stunt (Updated)

Michael Bay is known to include many stunts in his films and performing those stunts can be a very dangerous job. While filming was whining down in Chicago, an accident occurred involving an extra performing a stunt.

According to ABC Local, Bay was filming a car stunt on the highway, when a cable connecting two cars snapping, and the car crashed. Cedillo, an extra who was in the car, was then airlifted to the hospital. Her condition is unknown. Parmount and DreamWorks has yet to issue a statement on the accident.

According to My Fox Chicago, Cedillo is in critical condition. Production is postponed as a result of the accident.
