Exclusive: First News on Alluvial

Sean Decker is known as a scribe for the best horror webzine running today – Dread Central - a place where you can read his astute reviews and impeccable interviews that leave me green with envy. He formerly wrote for Fangoria Magazine, but now he has set his sights on the big screen in the form of Alluvial, a flick that brings an eclectic cast to the table in the form of Gunner (G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra) Wright as “Charles”, Ken (HEROES) Lally as “Ransom”, Heather (THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES) Snell as “Amanda”, Carlee (WICKED LAKE) Baker as “Eileen”,  Deacon (A MARINE STORY) Conroy as “Jeffrey”, and  R.A. (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3) Mihailoff as “Dr. Henry”. Here’s a little taste of what’s in store for the film that is deep in Pre-Production as we speak.

“It’s kind of a horror/action hybrid on its surface, it’s a pretty grim script that I co-wrote with Jack Ulrich. It’s been bounced from production house to production house the last couple years and it’s finally found a home. It’s got Carlee Baker from Wicked Lake, Heather Snell from The Poughkeepsie Tapes, and we just cast Allison Paige as one of our leads and she’s an amazing talent. We are in pre-production and hope to shoot in the Spring.”

Currently in pre-production in Los Angeles and produced by Fire Sign Films, the feature film ALLUVIAL is slated for principal photography Winter/Spring 2009/2010 under the eye of director and producer Geza Decsy. Written and co-produced by Jack Ulrich and DreadCentral.com and Fangoria Magazine scribe Sean Decker, ALLUVIAL revolves around the plight of a group of friends who while on vacation in the American desert contract a mysterious illness – one which causes them to turn on one another in a mesmerizing display of skewed emotions and primal rage . Paul (THE HUMAN RACE) Hough will also produce while Armond Sardayani is slated to co-produce. Special makeup effects will be provided by SOTA FX.
