Eminem takes on Heath Ledger in new song
Too Soon?
Americas favorite ‘bad boy’ of white rap has been making the rounds with his new album Relapse, which comes out on May 19th in stores everywhere. Â It is in one of his songs entitled My Mom where controversy is already stirring. Â In the song Eminem raps :Â ”All right, Ma, you win / I don’t feel like arguin’ / I’ll do it, pop it, gobble it, and start bobblin’ / Stumble, hobble, tumble, slipped, fell in bed / with a bottle of meds / and a Heath Ledger bobblehead.” Â Â Lyrics aside the man does have talent but can it be his attempt to intentionally cause controversy to sell albums since he has been gone from the public eye for so long? Â Or is it all fair game and America is already ready for the Heath Ledger jabs?

I think this has little to do with jabs at Heath Ledger. It has more to do with pharmaceuticals and the pill popping society / mentality that killed him.
As usual, the boat has been missed on what he’s saying.
Heath Ledger had more talent in his little finger than this nimrod has in his whole body. What a douche bag. Always has been, always will be.

Eminem is a rap artist and Heath Ledger was an movie actor..
you can’t compare their talent unless you’re referring to Eminem’s role in 8-Mile which was his one and only role in a movie (8-mile is the highest grossing rap movie ever)
Eminem is one of the most talented artists ever..
I love Eminem and Heath Ledger was one of my favorite actors but your comment was just way out of line and clearly you only said that because you were mad about Em’s new song.

People are stupid, who cares if he says it. People are making to big of a deal out of Heath, so he died. Whatever lots of people do. If Eminem made a Bob Hope joke people wouldn’t care.
I think that aaron is right, this isn’t a jab at Heath, but a jab at the way society has effects on people and their mental stability. Heath Ledger died of an alleged OD, was suck in a rut from playing the Joker & being so in character. This is just stupid take on an otherwise normal White Rap. Won’t hurt the sales of the album, that’t for sure.
Let’s be realistic, Eminem has no talent, never had and never will. He is a disposable product!

Eminem is a product and is talented. And any dispute you have with this can be quickly corrected with taking a look at his balance sheet.
Guy is a Phenom, will be a billionaire within next ten years. Is more valuable to our culture than can be calculated in dollars. If your all bent up that he took a stab at Ledger who basically fucked up and accidentally … or maybe intentionally killed himself.
If you can’t assess talent or value accurately and using facts then keep your opinions to yourselves, i hate blogs i don’t know what i’m even doing on this thing right now.

em isnt washed up, he left the rap scene because he was quoted that he got bored. Listen to his album, he states that he doesnt feel like rapping anymore, he was great and then just stopped coming out with songs. Him coming back or just this album proves that he is still the best lyrical rapper (or just best rapper) and nobody can say that he wasnt bein mean about heath because they dont know, what if he is making jokes too soon, but he does what he wants to do and always has. like the one dude said: if you dont like it, dont listen. Heath ledger was a great actor, you cant compare talents, they werent the same. Yeh eminem cant act, but heath cant rap.. see what im saying.
