Emily Blunt moved from Iron Man 2 to Gulliver’s Travels?

A few weeks back it bad been stated that The Devil Wears Prada star Emily Blunt would had been cast in the next Iron Man film.  Now it turns out that the actress had already been optioned by 20th Century Fox, during her contract with the Prada film, and is being pulled from the sure to be hit superhero film to not star in another adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels.

Emily Blunt, was originally set to star as Natasha Romanoff, a soviet spy also known as the Black Widow. Ms. Blunts reps are currently working on adjusting her work schedule so as to accommodate both roles into her schedule.

Gulliver’s Travels would have Emily Blunt teaming with How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segal and Tropic Thunder star Jack Black in the film with Rob Letterman to direct.  Rob Letterman’s previous credits include writing and directing Shark Tale as well as Los Gringos.
