Elvira’s Movie Macabre to return this Fall

Back in the 1980′s many of us horror nerds grew up with Cassandra Petersen’s alter-ego, Elvria, on late night cable TV. The show had her playing a goofy, campy horror movie, with periodic comments from her. But it was the boobs that filled up our attention, so folks…err, guys, get ready. Elvira is set to return to the boobtube (ahem) with all new episode, so says her blog.

Dates, times, and channels aren’t yet announced, but it will be nationally syndicated. Originally began in 1981, this program became a cult phenomenon, making her a household name in horror. Looks like we will have a new reason to stay up late again. But for those who are impatient, her classic TV epsiodes can be bought on DVD here.
