Editor finds a Haunting in Georgia

A Haunting in Connecticut and Wanted editor Tom Elkins is getting his rump off of the cushiony editor chair and into the director’s chair for the upcoming horror/thriller sequel A Haunting in Georgia. There were murmurs for awhile about House of the Devil director Ti West taking on the reigns of this property, but those quickly ceased especially now with this new bit of information. This will mark Elkins’ directorial debut off of the script penned by David Coggeshall. “Georgia” centers on the true story of a young family imperiled by mysterious entities inhabiting their property in the rural South (Heat Vision Blog).

Producing the feature is Paul Brooks under Gold Circle Films with Brad Kessell co-producing under the same company. No word yet on when principal photography is expected to start up.

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
