Eckhart fights for Los Angeles

No, Aaron Eckhart is not suddenly going into battle in reality and fighting for the overpopulated city. Then again, it would be cool to see him fight off aliens, which is what the newest film he’s starring in is about. The Battle of Los Angeles tells the story of a marine platoon that has to fight off an alien invasion that is happening in Los Angeles. Wait, are you sure this isn’t Independence Day?

The film also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Till and all sorts of other people who will more than likely be blown to bits through the running time of this movie. Not only are we making you aware of the existence of such an action and sci-fi film, but we are also showing off two new pictures that have emerged on the net and were tracked down by Screen Rant.

The flick is directed by Johnathan Liebesman and will be churned out under Columbia Pictures on February 18th, 2011. Check it out.:
