Dorff joins the War

Stephen Dorff is the latest to be part of the cast for War of the Gods from Relativity Media. The Greek mythology feature is being directed by Tarsem Singh from a script penned by Vlas and Charley Parlapanides. He rounds out a cast that already includes Freida Pinto, Mickey Rourke, Kellan Lutz, Luke Evans and Henry Cavill.

Dorff will portray Stavros, a master thief who joins Theseus on his quest to help free Greece from the dark threat of the Titans, says Variety. Principal photography is already expected to start up this April with a yet to be announced 2011 release date on the project. Dorff was last seen in the Michael Mann feature Public Enemies and next appears in Sofia Coppola’s newest feature Somewhere.
