Disney invites you to the Prom

When you has surprisingly monstrous success with the made for television movie High School Musical, you milk it out for all it’s worth. Unfortunately, Disney completely tapped it out, already making a complete trilogy out of the teen/tween demographic set of films. However, all because they can’t make anymore does not mean that they can’t try to re-create that success as best as they can. That’s what the House of Mouse has in mind already, batting around the idea of green lighting the teen based feature entitled Prom. This movie revolves around several teens who are getting ready for the big dance in high school.

In typical hopeful success fashion, Disney is planning on casting several unknown actors to the roles, reports Variety. Producing the feature will be Justin Springer and Ted Griffin with Kate Wech’s script being directed by Sydney White helmer Joe Nussbaum.
