Diaz wants to be Bad

Submitted by Melissa Molina on December 10, 2009 – 12:26 pmNo Comment

b353f36def280a6c_Cameron-DiazCameron Diaz is ready to grab the paddle and put on the high heels as she signs onto be in the comedy called Bad Teacher. Story centers on a foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school’s model teacher (Variety). Okay, so it’s not exactly going to play out like Van Halen’s ‘Hot For Teacher’ but then you wonder with Diaz being so goody-two-shoes in many of her roles if this will actually hold up on the ‘raunchy’ end it claims to be leaning into.

Columbia Pictures is behind the film that is being helmed by Jake Kasdan. The picture was penned by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky and initial filming is expected to start sometime in early 2010. Eisenberg is set to pen Ghostbusters III along with Stupnitsky and Diaz is still wrapped up in inklings of filming The Green Hornet.
