Destroyer from Thor is revealed

A lot of us have been speculating what is going on the set of Kenneth Branagh’s Thor, dying to catch a glimpse of Chris Hemsworth as the Norse hammer-welding god. Well, the picture from Latino Review isn’t him, but it’s a pretty good peek of Destroyer from the film.

What is Destroyer? As the name implies, he’s here to destroy one thing and one thing only; Thor. In the Marvel comics he’s summoned several times by Loki, and used by a few others, to go and duke it out with Thor in an attempt to finally kill him. At least were guaranteed a bit of action alone with this character.

Chris Hemsworth stars as a partially disabled medical student, Dr. Donald Blake, who discovers his heretofore unknown alter ego, the Norse warrior, Thor. The cast also includes Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander and Kat Dennings.

Thor comes out in theaters on May 6th, 2011 from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures.:
