Dern teaches some Fockers

laura-dern-2009-1-8-22-36-29Laura Dern is the latest actress to be attached to the upcoming Paul Weitz movie “Little Fockers”. Dern will be playing headmistress of the elementary school that the Fockers’ kids attend (THR). She is one of many that are within the cast, the most recent addition being actress Jessica Alba. A majority of the main cast from the sequel “Meet the Fockers” is back for the third film which includes Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Streisand and Robert De Niro just to name a few.

The Tribeca Productions and Universal Pictures film is being produced by Jay Roach and Jane Rosenthal who both produced the first two features in this series. Paul Weitz has been keeping himself busy prior to “Little Fockers”. His most recent cinematic work is “Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant”, written and directed by him, which appears in theaters on October 23rd.
