David Fincher signs on to direct live action Winnie the Pooh movie.

Fight Club director, David Fincher has just announced that he will be directing a live action Winnie the Pooh movie. At a recent press conference Fincher said that his fans didn’t need to worry about the possibility of him directing a Girl with  A Dragon Tattoo picture, because his heart was set on completely ruining a childhood classic instead. No cast has been announced yet, but rumor has it that O.J. Simpson is in talks to take on the title role. “I can’t think of a better actor than O.J. to bring such an iconic character to life.” – Fincher told Killer Film in during an interview earlier today.

I don’t know about the rest of you film geeks out there, but I’m totally stoked to see Fincher’s interpretation of the 100 Acre Wood. Also, if you believe this, then you really are an April fool…I’m just saying.
