Danny Devito as Gandhi

Danny Devito known more recently for his role as Frank Reynolds in the TV show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, will  taking on the  role of Mahatma Gandhi, an historical figure most famously brought to life in film by Ben Kingsley in the 1982 feature, Gandhi.

DeVito will star in Gandhi II, which he refuses to call either a sequel or a remake.

The movie is obviously a comedy as David Mamet directed the short for Funny or Die.com. You can see the video here
