Damon to be RFK?

Matt Damon is suiting up to possibly be Robert F. Kennedy in the upcoming biopic on the political figure. The Gary Ross directed picture is under New Regency Enterprises is being penned by Eastern Promises scribe Steven Knight. The film will trace RFK’s transformation from the younger brother in the shadow brother President John F Kennedy to a strong national leader in his own right before he was gunned down in 1968 (Deadline Hollywood).

Damon is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in this year’s Academy Awards for his performance in Invictus. He’s also set to appear in several other films which include the Paul Greengrass directed Green Zone as well as Contagion and True Grit.
