Could Poughkeepsie Tapes and Cabin in the Woods get released soon?
Many people dug Devil, directors Dowdle Bros.’Â M. Night film, but one of the more urban legends in recent years was what ever happened to their found footage serial killer film: The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I remember seeing the one-sheets in my theater and even the creepy trailer, but that was 2007.
Well, MGM owned it and we all know their current money woes of recent that has hurt The Hobbit and Bond 23. With a current buyout, the studio has new found hope that these new funds could help films that they are sitting on, to finally get released. Cabin in the Woods was going to get the post-conversion 3D process, but again, was infinitely delayed.
Time will tell, but hope has arrived.

I’d like to see Joss Whedon’s Cabin in the Woods get released w/o 3D.
