Columbia Revives 22 Film Noirs
Columbia Pictures recently revisited their vaults, dusting off some more of the film gems that made them as successful as they are. Their recent visit involved 22 examples of Film Noir, a gorgeous mix of chiaroscuro and crime. The plan is for Columbia to run these one time at the Roxie in San Francisco. The event runs from today, September 17th, until the 30th. Following the showing, Sony Pictures plans to release several of the movies in two-disc sets this November.
