Code Red to let The Visitor loose

Submitted by Jason Bene on November 25, 2009 – 5:54 pmNo Comment

194170_1020_AInitially though to be scrapped due to reasons unknown, Distribution Company Code Red blogged yesterday that that’s not the case at all, and you can expect a DVD release before Summer 2010.

This Italian production takes liberties from several American films like The Omen, Carrie, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and features a All-Star cast including director Sam Peckinpah!

“An overdue update on our upcoming DVD release of THE VISITOR! Star Joanne Nail dropped by recently to give us an audio commentary with moderator Marc Edward Heuck. Joanne had already granted us an audio commentary a while back with Scott Spiegel, but unfortunately we had to scrap that one due to technical issues. However, Joanne was so kind to do it all over again, this time with Marc! With this in the can, and all the other extras completed, THE VISITOR will be out before the summer. Sorry for the long delay on this release, but it’s definitely coming soon so please be patient just a little bit longer!”

Synopsis: The soul of a young girl with telekinetic powers becomes the prize in a fight between forces of God and the Devil.
