Coco Chanel Movie Poster… Posted

Submitted by Michael Cook on August 7, 2009 – 10:08 amNo Comment

The cats over at Cinematical recently received an exclusive poster for the darling Audrey Tautou’s upcoming Coco Before Chanel. For those who don’t recognize the name, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel is one of the foremost names in the fashion industry. This movie, as the title would imply, covers her early years, from being an orphan, a cabaret dancer and eventually her break into the industry that made her a renowned as she is to this day.

The movie is based on Edmonde Charles-Roux’s book, L’Irrégulière: Ou, Mon Itinéraire Chanel, who also helped adapt for the screen. Benoît Poelvoorde and some other pretty big european actors also appear in this one. With Audrey Tautou as the lead, her innocent yet seductive nature fits perfectly for her portrayal of Coco. Coco Before Chanel drops September 25th, and if you’re a fan of clothes, I’d say check it out.
