Clerks, Chasing Amy get Blu rays

Submitted by Jon Peters on August 19, 2009 – 1:03 pmNo Comment

Two of Kevin Smith’s finest films finally get their Blu Ray release on November 17th. The films are being released by Miramax, so no Chasing Amy from Criterion. Interestingly, the long rumored Chasing Amy X, in support of its 10th Anniversary, seems to be nixed, but expect “over 4 hours of exclusive Blu Ray content”. Either way, that’s a huge cause to rejoice.

Also, on the 17th of November is Clerks on Blu Ray, with new material running over 90 minutes. No word if the extras from the great Clerks X 3-disc DVD set will be ported over or not.

But alas, we finally get a new Chasing Amy disc…in high definition no less.
