Clash of the Titans graces cover of Empire Magazine

Submitted by Jason Bene on September 30, 2009 – 8:26 pmNo Comment

clash-of-the-titans-coverI first saw the majesty that is Clash of the Titans in 1981 as a double bill with John Carpenter’s Escape from New York. As a wee lad, I was weaned on such classics as The Golden Voyage of Sinbad and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. The man behind all the greatness is Ray Harryhausen, who pioneered the stop motion effects seen in all three of these mythical gems.

Next year marks the return of Medusa, Kraken, Persueus, and Bubo. Director Louis (The Incredible Hulk) Leterrier is sure to bring a heavy dose of CG to the remake.

Empire Magazine paid a visit to the set and have delivered one slick cover to commemorate the occasion.
