Cilian Murphy joins Red Lights
The nice folks over at STYD scored the first look at the one sheet teaser at the AFM for Rodrigo Cortes’ (Buried) upcoming film Red Lights. We knew that Sigourney Weaver and Robert DeNiro were set to star in the film, now it looks as if Cilian Murphy is on board as well.
Red Lights tells the story of a psychologist (played by Weaver), who with her assistant is studying the paranormal, this leads them to a renowned psychic (played by DeNiro). He has come back into the spotlight after 30 years, and they begin an attempt to debunk is work.
No word yet on what role Murphy will be playing, we can only speculate now until more is revealed. I would guess he’s going to play the assistant, but there could very well be other main roles we haven’t heard about yet. I am sure we will hear more as the film is set to start shooting early next year.
