Casting begins for Van Damme’s next

He might have missed out on The Expendables, but Jean-Claude Van Damme is still awaiting release for his directed Eagle Path and this September principle photography begins on Weapon (via Twitch). Starring along side JCVD, will be Vinne Jones (X-Men: The Last Stand) and Scott Adkins (Undisputed III). Shooting will happen in Romania, with Cube Zero helmer Ernie Barbarash directing.

Sony Pictures will release what will most likely be a direct-to-DVD film, but as evident with the praise of Universal Soldier: Regeneration and Undisputed III, that’s not a bad thing. Look for more news soon.
