Campbell Scott joins Spider-man reboot

With the Spider-man reboot looking to start shooting very soon (here), the casting is still under-way. But one role that has already been filled is that of Peter Parker’s father, which will be played by Campbell Scott (recently seen in Season 3 of Damages). So that leaves the question, who will play Peter’s mother? Well Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) is in talks for the role, and it looks like this could be a done deal.

Irrfan Khan and Annie Parisse are also in talks for roles in the film, with Irrfan (Slumdog Millionaire)  looking at a villain role and Parisse as the wife. I am sure we will hear more on the film in the coming weeks.
