Burton and Depp WILL do Dark Shadows next!

For quite some time now Jonny Depp has stated his admiration for the now classic Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows which ran from 1966-1971.  Though the film adaptation has always been tapped as a project for BOTH Johnny Depp as well as Tim Burton to direct sadly as things usually go the film has obviously yet to be made.

Now today comes word from producer Richard Zanuck (sweeney todd) that TIm Burton will in fact direct the film next summer in London with Johnny Depp as lead!!
