Bryan Singer confirmed for X-Men: First Class
The inner fangirl in me is rejoicing in the confirmation of director Bryan Singer coming back to helm X-Men: First Class. The news sprung about through Twitter via Flick Chart. Here’s the ‘tweet’ for you to read below:
Bryan Singer just leaked that he’s directing the next X-men Origins film on the AVATAR “blue carpet”. What do you think about that?
Bryan Singer directed the first two X-Men films and then ended up jumping ship to direct the critically bashed Superman Returns. Singer recently directed the Tom Cruise starring Valkyrie and is already set to direct a Battlestar Galactica movie along with Jack the Giant Killer. Not entirely sure when X-Men: First Class will be on the plate for the director, but at this point it’s a huge sigh of relief for those who are big fans of most of the movie franchise and the comics themselves.
Update: All you have to do is click right on the Myspace Avatar Page. Click on “Next Slide” at the bottom left and then scroll forward to the 27-minute mark where he’s asked about what he has coming up next. He tells the interviewers without any hesitation and complete seriousness: “I’m ramping up to do a movie called ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ at Warner Bros, and I just yesterday signed a deal to do an ‘X-Men: First Class Origins’ picture, which is kind of cool. I’m very excited.” (Thanks to Coming Soon for being one of the few finding this bit of information)

hmmm… Singer back? just so long as he stays away from DC

I’m glad to hear that hes back, but I don’t want to see X-men meets Teen Titans.
