Breaking Dawn to start shooting soon

Twilight Saga: New Moon is slowly making it’s way out of all theaters with the inevitable DVD/Blu-Ray release that could more than likely come out right before Twilight Saga: Eclipse flutters into theaters on June 30th. What better way for Summit Entertainment to continue to steamroll through the start of this decade with beginning initial filming for the final installments of one of the more popular vampire franchises on the two part feature film finale called Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Filming is scheduled to start up in the fall of 2010, with Melissa Rosenberg still penning the script. Even though it’s been reported that the final story will be split into two parts, it’s not for certain. Here’s more on what producer Wyck Godfrey said about it to FearNet.:

“[It] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it’s organic,” he told the L.A. Times. “If it’s not organic, I don’t think it will be done, and if it is, it will be. It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is, with all of these new vampires that appear in Breaking Dawn, the whole section about Jacob… It’s a very long single movie if it does become a single movie.”

No word on who exactly will be directing the final installment, but one thing is for certain and that’s Twilight Saga: Eclipse is coming out into theaters on June 30th of this year.
