Breaking Dawn directed by an Academy Award winner?

That’s what Summit Entertainment is trying to put together, as Entertainment Weekly spills that the company tapped on three directors within a certain stature to helm the supposed two-part feature that wraps up the entire Twilight film franchise. Among those on this new wish list is Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) and Gus Van Sant (Milk). One can only assume that maybe the general audience will swallow such racy things like a particular birth or the final “battle” scene that happens in the novel.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is in the middle of post-production with a set June 30th release date in regular theaters and in IMAX. If you need another dose of the film before it’s release date, here’s a link to the full trailer.
