Breaking Dawn causes all sorts of release date shuffling

With yesterday’s announcement of Breaking Dawn Part 2 opening on November 16th, 2012, this date has caused several studios to shuffle accordingly to avoid being swallowed up by that film.

Here’s the run down:

- Disney shifts Monsters, Inc. 2 to November 2nd, 2012 now and has unexpectedly removed the 3D version of Beauty and the Beast and Pixar’s newt off of the release schedule.

- DreamWorks moves their new animated film, The Guardians to November 21st, 2012.

Nobody wants to go head-to-head with the final Twilight film.
