Box Office results for February 1st

Liam Neeson should feel pretty good right now as 20th Century Fox’s  Taken has just hit the number one spot for the weekend with 24.6 million dollars, making the film the biggest Superbowl opening day film of all time.  Normally studios do not release a male targeted action film during Superbowl weekend and only open female films for the obvious reason of the big game on Superbowl Sunday.
