Bloodsport 2! Yes! No? Yes?

In an interview with Total Film, Jean-Claude Van Damme said he is eyeing doing a true sequel to his first hit film. “I want to do it now in a very mature way, where the guy from Bloodsport is a complete bum, maybe abusing his son.”

The studio is naturally resistant. Van Damme turned down a role in Stallone’s The Expendables so hopefully, something more tangent will come about on this. JCVD was a hit from 2008, bringing The Muscles from Brussels back into the limelight.
