Big Indy 5 news
Sure, everyone including Shia LaBeouf disliked Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but rumors of a fifth film have been there ever since that film opened. Cinematical has a scoop from an “inside source” about a fifth film-possibly done right.
“Harrison Ford has agreed to come back as the archaeologist and adventurer one more time, and will be given an “emotional and exciting” sendoff: “Harrison is on stand-by for filming next year. This looks like … an emotional and exciting conclusion to the franchise, with Indy facing his biggest challenge yet.”
Look for more as the source claims the fifth film will be shooting next year. “George [Lucas] and Steven [Spielberg] have been working on a script and it’s almost there. Shia LaBeouf has a central role again as Indy’s son, but this will be a blockbuster made in the old-fashioned way rather than the CGI efforts of the last movie.” This film will ditch the alien angle and deal with the Bermuda Triangle.
Exciting? Uninterested? Spielberg has been really quite as a director as of late, so maybe he was just hard at work on this, outside of his executive producer role on HBO’s The Pacific.

Quiet?
If they stick to their word, this will be my most anticipated film ever. My biggest problem with Kingdom was all the damn CGI. It was just lazy. That aside, I dug it. It’s my favorite franchise, so…
I enjoyed the last movie a bit. There were a few flaws; the monkey scene, the aliens, and using a snake as a rope to name a few. Don’t get me wrong I have no problem using the idea of aliens in a movie like this. Ancient civilizations were believed to have been helped by other beings, it was the stupid alien at the end. That just seemed like Speilberg forced that in there.
I can see Indy retiring and handing the franchise over to Mutt leading to YOUNG INDIANA JONES tpye of adventures. I don’t hate Shia, in fact the kid has acting chops, and I think that might be an intresting road to take, for one film at least.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t let some studio exec make this freaking movie 3-D. Just make a good freaking Indy film!!!!
