Beckinsale pops her head into Underworld 4

Submitted by Melissa Molina on February 4, 2010 – 12:13 pmOne Comment

Kate Beckinsale is being jerked back to reprise her role of Selene in the fourth Underworld film that’s rumored to be in glorious and over-used 3D, says Bloody Disgusting. The only problem with this is that the actress does not want to really deal with this franchise anymore, especially with trying to spend more time with her kids and do the whole mom thing. The feature is going to be helmed by Len Wiseman with John Hlavin penning the script.

No word yet on when filming is supposed to take place, or even more so what the story is about, but the release date for the feature is set for January 21rst, 2011. Hopefully filming will be taking place fairly soon if Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems want to reach their date right on time, especially if the production is going to be transformed properly in time to 3D.
