Universal confirms rumors of a new Battlestar Galactica movie!

After various websites online the other day, began reporting that The Usual Suspects director Bryan Singer was looking into taking on his once attempted treatment of Battlestar Galactica onto the big screen, Universal Pictures has just confirmed the speculation that Singer will take directing/producing duties for a new film version of the stellar television series.  The upcoming film adaptation will not in fact be a further continuation of the new series adaptation, but a brand new take on the shows concept.
