Are Will Forte and Bill Hader new Ghostbusters?
It’s almost hard to believe that just a year ago Ghostbusters 3 was just a rumor, but now, casting for the film is officially underway. We’ve already heard rumor that Anna Faris is attached to star as one the new Ghostbusters (here), and it looks like two more names could be added to that list. What’s Playing received word that Sony is looking at Will Forte and Bill Hader as potential actors for Ghostbusters 3.
The two are probably mostly known for their work on Saturday Night Live, with Forte starring in MacGruber, which was a spin-off of the show. Forte and Hader also have a similar background with veteran Ghostbusters Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray. Although, Saturday Night Live isn’t the same show it was years ago. It’s only a rumor right now, so take it with a grain of salt.
