Apparently someone does love Phillip Morris
Aside from the film receiving high critical praise and enthusiasm from those who have seen the it, I Love You Phillip Morris has been in limbo, until now.  Consolidate Pictures Group has finally taken the bull by its horns and acquired the film for distribution.  This tentatively scheduled for a Valentines 2010 release, and  will have a premier during the Cannes Film Festival for the directors fortnight offering.
I love you Phillip Morris stars Jim Carrey (Steven Jay Russell) and Ewen McGregor (Phillip Morris) in the outrageous comedy which has Russel falling in love with Phillip Morris, who after he is released from prison keeps going back and escaping, only to be let back in so that he may be with Phillip Morris. Â Now while this may sound like an extremely homoerotic story and not a comedy, check out CHUDS reaction to the film.
