Anton Yelchin looking for a Fright Night
Terminator Salvation and Star Trek actor Anton Yelchin is in the middle of talks right now to go and take on the lead role in the remake of the 1985 movie Fright Night from DreamWorks, reports the Heat Vision Blog. Craig Gillespie is already set to direct the feature from a script penned by Marti Nixon. If Yelchin gets the lead role, he’ll be this version’s Charley Brewster, originally played by William Ragsdale. The story revolves around Brewster who finds out that his next door neighbor is a vampire. Unfortunately nobody believes him, and when mysterious deaths linked to the blood-sucker start cropping up he recruits the aid of television star Peter Vincent in order to vanquish the undead man.
Yelchin is next to appear on the big screen alongside Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson in The Beaver, already set for release sometime this year.
