Ansari is on 30 Minutes or Less

Aziz Ansari is in the middle of negotiations to star in the Ruben Fleischer film 30 Minutes or Less for Media Rights Capital. The Matthew Sullivan and Michael Diliberti script revolves around a junior high history teacher (Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest (THR). Danny McBride is also rumored to be part of the cast, co-starring with Ansari as the pizza delivery man.

Producing the picture is Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld under Red Hour Productions along with Jeremy Kramer. Principal photography is expected to start up in the summer time with a yet to be announced 2011 release date. You can see Ansari on the NBC series Parks and Recreation Thursdays at 8:30 PM.
