Another Charles Manson film coming
Geez, this guy is a source for a slew of movies based on his life and murders, huh? Well, get ready for another one. The Family is the directorial debut for The Crazies screenwriter, Scott Kosar and True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten will sign on to star as Mason himself.
Kosar explains why another Mason film is worth doing: “The movie won’t focus on the Manson murders. Nor is it a Manson biopic. It’s a family biopic. A movie about a surrogate family of wayward teenagers who, through extraordinary circumstances, came together and were transformed into the most notorious American family of the 20th century. Hence the title.”
Far too many other Manson films out there for me to get too excite – so far. Thoughts?
