Angryfilms wants a Cycler

Angryfilms are looking to adapt a novel, but this one is a bit more interesting than the many that we’ve reported. Using the old formula of teenagers trying to cope with their identity with a twist, Cycler can either be a complete hit or miss with how this production company approaches it.

The novels tell the story of Jill, a suburban teenager who for four days each month turns into Jack, complete with male anatomy and 17-year-old-boy fantasies. Jill has maintained her life of ordinary teenage worries, such as going to the prom and dealing with crush, but that changes when Jack, tired of being locked in his room, begins to escape, causing damage to her social life (THR). Angryfilms is still on the hunt for a director, no word yet on when the release date will be.
