Anchor Bay takes Grave remake

Anchor Bay Films scoops themselves the domestic rights, along with the rights for several other countries which include Canada and New Zealand among others, for the upcoming horror remake I Spit On Your Grave. The flick tells the story of a city girl, played by Sarah Butler, who rents an isolated cabin in the country to write a novel. The victim of an assault and rape, she seeks vengeance on her attackers (THR).

Taking on the picture is Steven R. Monroe with Paul Hertzberg and Lisa Hansen producing. The film is already being set up for a theatrical release sometime this fall.
