Adler is gonna Jump Around

Submitted by Melissa Molina on December 10, 2009 – 4:34 pmNo Comment

adlerpicDuane Adler is keeping himself in the writing mood as he signs on to pen Jump Around. Firdosi Wharton originally wrote the “Jump Around” script, about a group of teenagers who form a double-dutch jump-roping team at their high school and compete for a spot in an international competition. Double Dutch this year became an official varsity sport in New York City schools (THR). Producing the picture will be Judd Payne, Matt Williams and Jared Mass for Granat Entertainment.

Adler created the story and characters for the Step Up movies that have spawned onto three films. The third film, Step Up 3D will obviously be in the third dimension. Why is that? Because I guess in these times we need to see breakdancing happen in 3d.
