Zach Galifianakis looking to join R.I.P.D.

The Los Angeles Times is hearing from an inside source that Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover, Due Date) is currently in talks to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in R.I.P.D. (Rest In Peace Department). The film is based off the Dark Horse comic about two dead cops that patroll the underworld. Reynolds is attached as Nick Cruze, who looks for the one who killed him, with Galifianakis as his partner. Robert Schwentke (Red) is attached to direct with production this summer pending Reynolds’ schedule.
