Yet another writer to help fix MIB 3D
Development on Men In Black 3D has been falling apart since production was stalled during the holidays. Since then, production was postponed again (here), and David Koepp was hired to help fix the script (here). Production has apparently resumed on schedule, but sources are telling The Hollywood Reporter that Screenwriter Mike Soccio (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) was also brought in to help out on the script.
Soccio was apparently only hired “for minor on-set punch-up work during our initial production period”, but his attachment was kept quiet, and it seems the other writers weren’t aware of his involvement with the script. Soccio “is a long-time and well-known collaborator on Will’s projects”, and has written several episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which starred Will Smith, and The Karate Kid remake.
Men In Black 3D is slated to open in May of 2012.

This thing has been in preproduction for a year! Is this ever going to be made?
