Yes! Captain America is coming to Blu-ray!
Am I the only one that remember watching 1990′s Captain America, from director Albert Pyun? Maybe I’m just a nerd, but I dug the campy flick that pitted our American hero against the Red Skull, and as luck would have it, the long OOP film is hitting Blu-ray and DVD May sometime. But better yet…it’s a Director’s Cut!
Talking to io9, Pyun found added scenes, and is more character-oriented and less ‘super hero action” making the cut over 2 hours instead of its original 90 minutes. Pyun said he found the film’s new version when he found his extended cut of Cyborg. Besides the BD release, Pyun is playing it at Fantasia Film Festival in July.
