Wonder Woman gets her villain (Updated)
With the lead in NBC’s Wonder Woman now cast (here), we can now look at who will be taking on the Amazon Princess. While we don’t know who the villain is, we now know who is playing the villain. On her Twitter, Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers, Bedazzled) reveals that she has been cast as the villain for show’s pilot episode. “Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait,” she said. It’s unknown what character she will be playing, and since it will most likely only be for the pilot episode, they may very well create their own character.
Update: Bleeding Cool is hearing the identity of Hurley’s character is Veronica Cale.
