Who will direct G.I. Joe 2?

While many weren’t too keen on Stephen Summer’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, the film did gross enough to get a sequel. It was early-January we reported Stephen Summers wasn’t going to direct the sequel (here) after it was thought he would. Nothing has been heard lately about possible directors, but Lation Review is hearing a few names being mentioned. Those names include John Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Step Up 3D), Jaume Collet Serra (Unkown), F Gary Gray (Set It Off). There’s now word on how close any of these directors are in negotiations, and more names could be added.
