What’s up with the Daredevil reboot?

It’s been a good while since we’ve last heard anything of director David Slade’s Daredevil reboot for Fox and Marvel. Looks like that’s been intentional.

Slade, who’s given us a bad-ass vampire film in 30 Days of Night and what some think is an under-rated classic in Hard Candy, might be the cause of any news delay on the film. According to his Twitter account, Slade firmly said: “The Daredevil news is simply that we are taking our time to get the script right. No casting, or other decisions will be made until then.”

Got to respect that. After the Deadpool and Wolverine 2 delay, this is a possible new route Fox is taking to make good on making damn fine films, like their X-Men: First Class. Thoughts?
