WB rebooting Fletch
Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Warner Bros. is looking to reboot Fletch that starred Chevy Chase in the original series. WB and Anonymous Content made bought the rights to Gregory McDonald’s novel series about an “an investigative reporter who solves mysteries”. There were 11 books in the series, which the studio is planning to base a new franchise on. Michael Sugar and Steve Golin from Anonymous Content will be producing the film with David List.
